Short Term Rental Direct vs Furnished Finder
For a lot of operators, Furnished Finder is not a competitor to this product, because it doesn't serve the same guest. If your inventory is mid term (traveling nurses, corporate relocations, insurance housing, 30 days and up), Furnished Finder may be the right tool, and this page will talk you out of switching.
What Furnished Finder is
Furnished Finder is a marketplace for mid term furnished housing: traveling healthcare workers, corporate relocations, and insurance or disaster housing, typically 30 days or longer. Since 2 January 2026 it has charged a flat annual subscription: $199 a year for one listing, $149 a year per add on unit, or $750 a year for a whole hotel or apartment complex. There is no commission and no booking fee on top, so landlords keep the full rent.
| Units | Our tier | Our annual price | Furnished Finder |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Solo | $790 | $199 |
| 3 | Solo | $790 | $497 |
| 10 | Studio | $1,990 | $1,540 |
| 20 | Unlimited | $3,490 | $3,030 |
| 25 | Unlimited | $3,490 | $3,775 |
| 30 | Unlimited | $3,490 | $4,520 |
Furnished Finder figures are $199 for the first listing plus $149 per add on unit, from its own published 2026 pricing (effective 2 January 2026), checked 25 August 2026.
On price alone, Furnished Finder is cheaper below roughly 24 units, sometimes by a lot at low counts. But the guest matters more than the price: a traveling nurse booking a month or more, or a vacationer booking a weekend. Those two need different products.
The difference is the guest
Furnished Finder is built around 30 day minimum stays and a traveler who needs housing for work, not a vacation. It brings real search demand for that guest, and it is an inexpensive, legitimate way to reach them. If a good share of your inventory serves that market, this comparison is closer than the table makes it look, because you would be paying us for guest discovery we don't offer at all.
This product is built around the guest who already knows you: a past vacation guest, a referral, someone who found you through your own marketing, usually on shorter stays. We don't run a mid term housing search and have no traveling professional audience, and we aren't trying to get one.
If you run both kinds of stay
Some operators do: a property that runs nightly in season and mid term in the off season. Then the honest answer is probably both. Use Furnished Finder for the mid term months and this product for guests who already know you the rest of the year. Neither of us is asking for exclusivity.
Who this page is not fair to
If most of your business is mid term stays, take the recommendation above at face value. This page is built from Furnished Finder's own published pricing, not a trial account. If something here is wrong or out of date, email hello@shorttermrentaldirect.com and we'll fix it.
